This paper examines the tensile strength performance of hot mix asphalt without and with reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), different gradations, asphalt content, and test temperatures applying the Indirect Tensile Test (IDT) and the Semi-Circular Bending Test (SCB). Laboratory test results indicated the dependence of the tensile strength on the study variables, with evident trends for the type of test and the test temperature. A reasonable correlation between IDT and SCB tensile strength was verified. There is also a good correlation between IDT and SCB when data reported in previous research is incorporated.
