Abstract
La pregunta por qué es la historia y cómo conocerla y contarla está lejos de estar resuelta. Partiendo de la distinción que hace Arendt (2002) entre pensamiento y razón, se propone aquí una reevaluación de la utilidad de la performance para el ejercicio de investigación historiográfica, insistiendo, no en su novedad, sino en la pertinencia de su formalización en la academia.
What is history and how should it be studied and told? These are questions for which answers are yet to be found. Starting from the distinction between reason and thinking proposed by Arendt (2002), this article proposes a reevaluation of the usefulness of performance in historiographical research, insisting not on his novelty but on the relevance of its formalization in the academic world.
