Abstract
Rhinebothrium rhinobati sp. nov. and Prochristianella heteracantha sp. nov. are described from the skate, Rhinobatos planiceps Garman 1880 from Chile. New host records and locations are reported for Acanthobothrium olseni Dailey and Mudry 1969, Parachristianella monomegacantha Kruse 1959, and Proleptus acutus Dujardin 1845. The genus Rhinebothrium is reported from the host family Rhinobatidae for the 1st time and the host specificity of the genus Rhinebothrium to the Myliobatidae is discussed.
