dc.description.abstractEmission rates for CO, NO, NO2 and CH2O from several unvented gas and kerosene heaters frequently employed in domestic heating were measured. The indoor concentrations generated by these emissions were evaluated and compared to those determined in typical houses. The predicted and measured values exceeded the short term air quality standards accepted in most countries.
