Abstract
The aim of this project is to study the effects of a weak, noisy electric field in a complex scalar field theory, in the context of relativistic heavy-ion collisions experiments. The Schwinger scalar propagator is modified by stochastic fluctuations of the electric field, modeled as white noise. The perturbative expansion of the model is addressed by the means of the replica trick, finding the self energy and the vertex correction at one loop in order to study the renormalization group equations of the theory.
