- ItemDesarrollo humano integral y sostenible : diálogos entre Sen-PNUD y el pensamiento social católico contemporáneo(2018) Hodge Cornejo, Cristián; Daher Gray, Marianne; López Barreda, Rodrigo; Castilla, Juan Carlos; Edwards G., GonzaloEl objetivo de este artículo es analizar las convergencias, complementariedades y diferencias entre la noción de desarrollo humano de Amartya Sen y el PNUD con el pensamiento de Benedicto XVI y Francisco. Las distintas nociones de desarrollo humano incluyen la integralidad o multidimensionalidad de las personas, así como la inclusión y la sustentabilidad. Cada noción de desarrollo supone una visión del ser humano, de la libertad, de la responsabilidad y de la agencia. Se discute acerca de la relevancia de las instituciones, la eficiencia y la complejización de índices que consideren tanto lo social como lo ambiental. Finalmente, se postulan los aportes de la ética social cristiana a las políticas públicas en esta materia.

- ItemEl abuso de conciencia: hacia una definición que permita su tipificación penal canónica(Pontificio Seminario Mayor San Rafael, 2021) Borgoño, Cristián; Hodge Cornejo, CristiánEste estudio tiene como objetivo perfilar el concepto de abuso de conciencia en vistas a su tipificación en el derecho canónico. Se comienza describiendo la reflexión postconciliar sobre la manipulación de conciencia desde una perspectiva teológico-moral, que anticipa el concepto actual de abuso de conciencia. El centro del artículo es el esclarecimiento del concepto de abuso de conciencia y de su gravedad. Este abuso se da en el contexto de relaciones de cuidado, donde se traspasan los límites de la mediación eclesial que corresponde a dicha relación: el abuso de conciencia implica apropiarse indebidamente de la autoridad de Dios. El presente estudio continúa la línea de investigaciones precedentes para perfilar con mayor nitidez el abuso de conciencia propiamente tal en el contexto católico. Es un paso indispensable para la necesaria justicia y reparación para las víctimas de este grave delito.

- ItemFraternity as mutual aid or mutual assistance? From political fraternity to Economics of Francesco(Springer Nature, 2025) Hodge Cornejo, CristiánThe objective of this article is twofold: (i) to rethink economics and politics from fraternity perspective. And, on the other hand, (ii) to highlight the contributions of some authors from the Economy of Francesco (EoF) to the proposal of a fraternal economy and a fraternal economics. How can fraternity be conceived in the current version of capitalism, amidst inequalities and the environmental crisis? Firstly, the concept of political fraternity is presented, and how Ángel Puyol understands mutual aid; secondly, it is shown how Stefano Zamagni proposes the principle of fraternity from the paradigm of Civil Economy, not only for economic life, but also for economic thought; thirdly, what Luigino Bruni and Robert Sugden postulate about market relations that would be fraternal, where mutual assistance is understood as team reasoning, is presented; fourthly, what some of the authors from Economy of Francesco write about fraternity, about we-rationality, and about its political dimension are analysed; Finally, some conclusions of the study are provided.
