The reaction of the bases with [Ag(O3SCF3)(PPh3)] leads to the preparation of three or four coordinated cationic complexes, [Ag(k(1)-L)(PPh3)(n)](+) (n = 1 or 2) which have been characterized by IR, D-1 and D-2 NMR spectroscopy.
