    Cambiemos el cambio climático: ¿Estás listo para unirte?

    La exposición "Work in Progress" (WIP), 2023. Se trata de una instalación que se estructura a partir de 4 etapas según la experiencia de la exposición. Momento 1: Provocación - Se interpela al asistente con mensajes que hagan un llamado a la acción, entregado mediante videos. Momento 2: Información - Se entrega información mediante infografías sobre mitigación y adaptación, proveniente desde fuentes digitales existentes para acceder a información interactiva sobre cambio climático. Momento 3: Expresión - El asistente se expresa a través de mensajes en formato digital o análogo. Estos mensajes son cargados y registrados en plataforma Instagram. Momento 4: Evaluación - Se entrega un Código QR para que el visitante si lo desea entregue un feedback de la experiencia.

    Exportación de la contaminación en Chile. Análisis de procedimientos sancionatorios de la Superintendencia del Medio Ambiente, 2013-2019

    The economic model based on the extraction and export of natural resources to countries that process raw materials, and the influence of the great powers or developed countries in this condition, has caused environmental deterioration. This research analyzes the data of the sanctioning procedures imposed by the Superintendence of the Environment of Chile between 2013 and 2019 to the holders of investment projects that failed to comply with current environmental regulations. It is found that the items with the highest number of charges filed correspond to export activities (mining, agriculture and livestock, manufacturing facilities, and fishing and aquaculture) whose fines for environmental non-compliance amount to almost 411,000,000 usd and are led, after Chile, by foreign investment capitals. It is argued that these companies from countries with better environmental standards do not apply the same operating conditions in Chile. This shows shortcomings in the implementation of state and business policies related to the country’s sustainable development discourse.

    Se ha desarrollado esta guía, que busca ayudar a cualquier persona a comprobar si las actividades o acciones que se están llevando a cabo en un área definida como un humedal, podrían tratarse de una conducta denunciable, en qué instituciones realizar dichas denuncias y la forma de hacerlo. Esta guía es el resultado del trabajo realizado en el marco del proyecto “Toolkit para la gestión y conservación de Humedales: Una propuesta de fortalecimiento a su actual institucionalidad”, el cual fue adjudicado en marzo de 2019 a través del Concurso XIV del Centro de Políticas Públicas UC y donde están involucrados profesores de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad de Chile, Universidad San Sebastián y Universidad Católica de Temuco.
